Behavioral Innovations has opened an autism therapy center at 7200 S. State Highway 78, Suite 200, in Sachse.
The multi-state provider of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy held a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Sachse Chamber of Commerce to mark the opening, the Sachse Journal reported. The center sits along a commercial stretch of Highway 78 that the Sachse Economic Development Corporation (EDC) has been working to build up.
Behavioral Innovations' Sachse location serves children ages 18 months to 10 years. Services include autism assessment and diagnostic testing, ABA therapy, social skills training and a program called ABA Prep, according to the company's website. Each child works through an individualized, goal-based program with regular caregiver updates, the Sachse Journal reported.
The company's website says the Sachse location typically has no waitlist, though families should contact the intake team at 855-782-7822 to check availability. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. The center says it is in-network with most major insurance providers, including Aetna, Cigna and Anthem.
Behavioral Innovations operates locations across Texas and in five other states: Colorado, Maryland, North Carolina, Oklahoma and Virginia.
The opening is the latest sign of commercial activity along the Highway 78 corridor. The EDC's Renovate 78 grant program offers matching funds covering up to 75% of eligible project costs, capped at $25,000 per project, for facade, landscaping and infrastructure work along the corridor, according to the Sachse Journal. The program has no fixed public deadline and remains open to businesses in the area.
Behavioral Innovations' arrival follows the opening of Huckleberry's Breakfast and Lunch at the Bunker Hill Retail Center, another Sachse business that held a Chamber ribbon-cutting in recent weeks.
