Sachse has a new sit-down breakfast option.

Huckleberry's Breakfast and Lunch opened at the Bunker Hill Retail Center at 3115 Bunker Hill Road with a ribbon-cutting ceremony alongside the Sachse Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, Aug. 20, according to the Sachse Journal.

The restaurant, managed by Dipesh Pandey, operates as a breakfast-and-lunch-only concept, closing its kitchen each afternoon. That format means lower labor costs, less food waste and a staff that can maintain quality without running three meal periods, the Sachse Journal reported.

The city has historically had limited sit-down breakfast options, making Huckleberry's a new dining category for the area. With Garland ISD students back in class since Aug. 10, the restaurant opens into a community with structured weekday mornings and open weekends.

Broader commercial context

Huckleberry's opening is a private investment, separate from the city's Renovate 78 Local Business Grant Program, which targets the Highway 78 corridor. The Sachse Economic Development Corporation has been actively working to attract and support businesses across the city, and the Renovate 78 program offers matching funds up to $25,000 per project for façade, landscaping and infrastructure improvements along that corridor. The program remains open until committed funds are exhausted.

Huckleberry's is located in Suite 108 at the Bunker Hill Retail Center on Bunker Hill Road in Sachse.
