Landon Winery is hosting a Holiday Wine Stroll through Historic Downtown Wylie on Nov. 21, with more than 20 participating stops along the district's shops and boutiques.
Tickets cost $35 plus tax and include 15 tastes of Landon wine, beer and spirits, according to the event's Eventbrite listing. The stroll runs from noon to 5 p.m.
Each ticket also comes with a souvenir wine glass, exclusive boutique discounts at every stop and a complimentary charcuterie grazing table at Landon Winery. Participants who complete their passport ticket earn a bonus pour back at the winery.
The event listing describes this year's stroll as featuring "even more variety" with Landon wine, beer and spirits alongside food and holiday activities at select stops, according to Discover Downtown Wylie's website.
Here is how it works. Attendees check in at Landon Winery at 103 N. Ballard Ave. in Wylie to pick up their souvenir glass and a passport ticket. They then visit the participating stops throughout downtown, collecting their 15 included tastes and shopping along the way. Finishing back at Landon Winery with a completed passport earns the bonus pour and access to the charcuterie spread.
Each participating merchant will offer a bite to eat, according to the Eventbrite listing, with some stops adding holiday-themed activities. The organizers have not yet announced which specific downtown businesses are among the 20-plus stops.
Wine Club members receive a discount on tickets. Tickets are available through Eventbrite.
